As much as people always get really weird about the idea of their favorite bands getting popular, I feel like Opeth’s only going to keep rising in popularity, and that’s a really good thing. I think they deserve all the recognition they can get. They’re already an extremely popular metal band, anyhow.

I love Tool, and their live shows. Maynard I certainly find no more boring than 90% of the Prog out there these days. He like any band as big as Tool, they are vastly over-rated by their fans. Maynatrds cool, but he’s no Patton, Claypool or Townsend.
